Form guide
The England Women have alternated between wins and losses in their five T20Is this year. While that isn’t necessarily ideal preparation ahead of the World Cup, it isn’t the worst either. A win here will help them gain the momentum they need.
India too can use a win in this game. Having lost more than they’ve won in the format in 2026, a series win in England would go some way in instilling confidence in a team that needs it. Winning this game will also see India record back-to-back series wins against England for the first time in the format.
ENG vs IND head-to-head
England Women have faced India 37 times in T20Is, winning 25 and losing 12 of those games. The Women in Blue have, however, won four of the last seven games between these two sides, with all seven games coming in the last 12 months.

Key players to watch
Harmanpreet Kaur was available for the most recent game after missing the first T20I of the series. Unfortunately, she was unable to arrest the collapse around her during India’s chase. The Indian captain will hope to make a bigger impact with the series on the line.
Slow left-armer Sree Charani has impressed over the course of this series. She is India’s joint leading wicket-taker in the series with four scalps to her name. Charani has done so while maintaining an economy rate of just over six and over.
For England, all-rounder Freya Kemp made a brilliant impression in the last game. Her all-round performance earned her the player of the match. Kemp’s unbeaten 39 off 13 balls ensured that England put up a competitive 168 on the board. Her two wickets then broke the back off India’s chase.
Tall pacer Lauren Bell is the leading wicket-taker in the series, having picked up five wickets. While Bell can swing the ball quite a bit in the powerplay, she also has a great slower one that she employs at the back end of the innings. Her incredible skillset poses a more-than-valid threat to the opposition ahead of the final match of the series.
